Why this is on the Spitzer service site
This portal is about repairs and TDT inspections of Spitzer silo trailers. But the owner of the workshop — PHS Magnum of Chorula — also runs its own fleet: 26 DAF XF Euro 6 tractors and 31 silo trailers of 55–65 m³, maintained in the same hall where we service our customers’ trailers. Since 2026 that fleet works in a new group service: Port-to-Plant .

What the service consists of
- 20’/40’ container pick-up in Gdańsk, Gdynia or Szczecin and haulage to Chorula — with trusted, long-standing transport partners.
- Devanning of palletised 25 kg sacks, big-bags and octabins with our own 3.5 t and 5 t forklifts.
- Covered, dry warehouse for 2,000 big-bags; FIFO, cross-docking, 24/7 CCTV.
- Bulk transfer into the silo trailer by gravity through a cleaning screen; every lot weighed, delivery note and ISO 9001:2015 protocol. Big-bags and octabins: up to 200 t per day, one trailer in 2–4 hours.
- Silo trailer delivery to a plant in Poland or the EU — 25–27 t payload, Community licence.
- Traceability: video record from the opening of the container to the sealing of the trailer.
What it has to do with the workshop
The silo trailer that arrives at the consignee with pellets is inspected, washed and repaired in Chorula — by the same team that looks after our customers’ Spitzer SF and SK trailers. For the importer that means predictability: a sound fleet, valid TDT inspections and clean tanks, i.e. no contamination of the material. For the workshop it means know-how from the daily operation of silo trailers, which we turn into repair quality.
Who it is for
Importers and distributors of PE, PP, PVC, ABS, PET, PS, PC and PA pellets and regranulates who want to sell containerised material in bulk — without their own warehouse in Poland. A typical model: regular containers via Gdańsk, a daily silo trailer to the plant Monday to Friday under an annual contract.
